Tom is the engineering leader on the EY US Blockchain team focused on leading ESG and Sustainability solutions. With over 20 years of technical experience designing and building FinTech and Energy sector solutions, Tom has designed blockchain carbon management systems for emissions tokenization, carbon offsets and footprint management. He is currently acting Chair of the Carbon Emissions Token (CET) Standards Task Force within the Global Blockchain Business Council. Tom has also worked extensively in the financial services sector, having created blockchain based payment solutions aimed at reducing friction and costs associated with traditional money transfer. Tom has served in a variety of technology and engineering leadership roles including software engineer and architect, Director, and VP of Engineering in the fintech and energy arenas.
