Shiv is a senior technology executive with experience in leading Fortune organizations in various industries including environmental services, sustainability, waste to energy, recycling, financial services, sports entrainment & service industries. He was part of Waste Management’s Digital Leadership Team and in his role as a Senior Director of Digital Technologies, he is responsible for innovation delivery. In this role, he leads WM’s Digital Product Management & Engineering organization – with a focus on increasing growth and reducing costs. His major focuses include working with customers and employees to understand their needs and develop strategic technology platforms that deliver a differentiated experience in the industry. He has over 20 years of experience and started his career as a software engineer where he learned the fundamentals of successfully delivering innovative, customer-centric solutions while keeping an eye on capital optimization. His work at WM & Rocket Mortgage (f.k.a. Quicken Loans) has fundamentally shifted business models resulting in these organizations maintaining their leadership roles in their respective industries. He has successfully delivered several large-scale technology solutions to a wide range of industries and users. He has a long history of successfully leading technology teams for private equity and public companies– with revenues ranging from $600MM to $17B+; including for multiple acquisitions and turnarounds. He received his MBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business and Master of Science in Information Systems from Eastern Michigan University. Shiv and his family live in Houston.
